When I was pregnant with my son, my mom lived over 12 hours away, but that didn’t stop her from finding a way to stay connected. As a first-time grandma, she was beyond excited and followed along with all the baby development apps, keeping track of how my little one was growing each week.

One day, during Week 7, knowing how sick I was, she sent me a stuffed blueberry—the size of my baby that week—to make me smile. And it worked! From that moment on, it became our special tradition. Every single week, for the next 33 weeks, she sent me a corresponding fruit or veggie to match my baby’s size. It was sweet, funny, and most of all, it made me feel loved, supported, and connected, even from miles away.

That’s when the idea for Charmed Beginnings was born. My mom and I wanted to create something just as meaningful and memorable—but with a timeless keepsake that moms could cherish forever.
